SAP is an ERP system by SAP AG, a company based in Walldorf in Germany.  AG stands for Aktiengesellschaft in German.  In German SAP stands for Systeme, Anwendungen und Produkte in der Datenverarbeitung.  SAP is a set of computerized applications which provide end to end solution for financial, managerial, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, and inventory related information required by enterprise
